Dear Customers,
Advance notice: June is stock-take month. Last year we did a rolling stock-take keeping the shop open for business, but this year we need to shut the shop and make sure that we do an accurate count of every item. It used to be a day’s work, but we have grown so much that we need at least 2 days to finish the task. There are no week-day public holidays for us to utilise, so unfortunately we will have to close during business hours. We will shut each of the branches in turn to complete the task.
We have decided to close Augustine on Saturday, 23rd June, keeping Good Neighbours open. Then we will close Good Neighbours the following Monday and Tuesday, 25-26th June, keeping Augustine open. We apologize in advance for the inconvenience, but our stock needs to be rectified so that our system accurately reflects what we have on hand. We hate having to disappoint customers who want a book that is supposed to be there, but isn’t!
Another housekeeping item: When making payment by EFT, it is preferable that you use your full name or profile/account number. You can use an invoice number, provided it is current. Some customers have set us up as a beneficiary using an invoice number as reference. The same invoice number comes up for every payment. These old invoice numbers are difficult to match to a customer.
Tozer titles: We used to be able to get a variety of Tozer titles directly from the publisher, but unfortunately the publisher the rights to another publisher for which we had to use a local agent – expensive. We have since managed to negotiate a better discount for these books and a greater variety of Tozer titles is now available – 30 titles in all. Use this link to get a list on our web site:

Sprinkle Publications: We have just stocked up again with good Reformed literature from Sprinkle: authors such as William Plumer, William Jay. W Sprague and more. These are mostly hardcovers, so not cheap, but worth the investment. Unfortunately, you can’t search on the web site by publisher, but you can download the catalogue as an Excel spread sheet and sort by publisher to get a list.
