We have changed over to the required 15% VAT – not without a few headaches! We have decided to absorb the tax increase and all the prices of books currently on stock will remain the same. As new stock lands, prices will be calculated with 15% tax accordingly. All our systems show the correct prices, but the website prices are a few cents higher than they should be. That still needs to be corrected. Meanwhile, orders received via the web site will be processed at the correct lower prices.

Postal rates increase: On the 1st April every year, the post office increase its postal rates. Accordingly, we now charge a basic rate of R57 per parcel with an additional R7 per kilogram for parcels over 1kg. many customers now opt for courier, thinking that their parcels are not safe with the post office, but we have never lost a parcel. The post office may sometimes be tardy and some of our parcels have taken the scenic route, but domestic parcels always reach their destinations. Courier is obviously quicker and more efficient, but you pay a price for that.
